How to convert a midi/mp3/wave file to a music sheet?

1. Input is a MIDI file
-Search and download a free trial of Notation Music
-install and run the program
-open your midi file and let the program analyzes the file
-Try to play music sheet using the program and if satisfied you can print out the music sheet (you can certainly print the music sheet to a PDF file)

2. Input is a WAVE file
Converting a wave file to a midi file is not easy. There are only a few programs that can do this, and they don't always work correctly depending on the complexity of the wave file.
Two free programs that can do this, having full functionality, are AmazingMIDI and AKoff Music Composer. Check 1 for steps on how to convert MIDI to a music sheet.

3.Input is a MP3 file.
-you need to convert the mp3 file to a wave file then convert the wave file to a midi file.
To convert the mp3 file to a wave file use a software called "Switch Sound File Converter". It's free. WARNING:Most of the other similar software are not stabled or working properly. Some cannot convert all the content of the mp3 file. They crash and hang. My recommendation is to start with a midi file format if you have one and avoid starting with a MP3 file.
